Founded in 1996 as an independent, non-profit organization, the mission of the Association of Chinese Corrosion Engineers (ACCE) International is to promote the personal and professional interactions of Chinese corrosion engineers across the globe and to provide and promote business opportunities and cooperation between overseas and China. The close counterparts of ACCE are the Chinese Society of Corrosion and Protection (CSCP) and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) International. 

For the past 12 years, ACCE has achieved great success. Its members have grown from a few, to close to 190 this year. This year’s annual dinner on March 18 at the NACE/2008 Conference in New Orleans had an overwhelming attendance. 60 people from Mainland China, Taiwan, Europe, Canada and the United States joined in the dinner. There is a growing trend of influence of the Chinese corrosion professionals to the entire corrosion society. We are proud that we are becoming increasingly strong!
