ACCE International - Association of Chinese Corrosion
Engineers International (formely the Chinese American Association
of Corrosion & Materials
Engineers (CAACME)) was founded during the CORROSION '96 Conference
in Denver,
Colorado. ACCE International is a non-profit, non-political,
international organization. The mission of the association is
to promote the communication and collaboration among association
members to further their personal and professional development;
to facilitate the exchange and networking on corrosion and materials
related technologies, applications, and business practice; to
provide and promote world-wide business opportunities and cooperation,
and between overseas and China for our members; to establish
and enhance the friendship among association members. establish
contacts
with the corrosion societies/organizations in Chinese speaking
countries for technical
information exchange and cooperative activities between associations
or individuals. To achieve the mission, the association aims:
1. To provide a forum for the Chinese-Overseas engineers
involving with corrosion and materials, who are working in
the world, to develop networking
and to foster friendship.
2. To establish contacts with the corrosion societies/organizations in
Taiwan and Mainland China and other Chinese speaking countries/areas for
technical information exchange and cooperative activities between
associations or individuals.
3. To encourage associates to participate in educational research and development.
4. To inform associates of grant opportunities for engaging in corrosion
and material research.
5. To create opportunities for scholarly discourse regarding research findings,
learning, collaboration, and cooperation among associates.
6. To establish a network for those who are committed to corrosion and material
research and development.
